Uninterrupted Copying on Konicas
22 September 2009
The Konica 920 printers have the ability to copy a book or document several pages at a time and print them out. Depending on how one does this, the pages may come out one at a time or all at once. If print jobs are sent during the copy process they will print out in the middle of the job unless one uses the following procedure for uninterrupted copying.
At the Konica (Grad Printer or Faculty Printer):
- Touch the "COPY" button above the numeric keypad on the right of the copier. (It should light up green).
- Enter your password as usual on the screen
- Touch "SEPARATE SCAN" on the bottom of the screen. (This informs the printer that you will be doing multiple pages).
- Place your book or document on the glass. Press the "START" button on the right, with the diamond in the center, to scan each page.
- When you have finished with all of the pages, touch "COMPLETE SCAN" on the bottom of the screen. Press the "START" button once more to print the job.
- Log off the copier by pressing the "Access" button on the right.
