How to make transparencies using the printers in the Multi-Media Room

When printing from a file

On the 5100CN printer, load transparencies into tray 1 (the main paper tray).  In the printer dialogue box, select 5100CN, then click on ‘properties’ select ‘transparency’ under “favorites” and then click on the ‘paper’ tab.  Select “tray 1.”  Click OK, then click print.

*If the printer says ‘load MPF’ (i.e. manual page feeder), cancel the job from the printer and try again; you did not follow these instructions correctly.

On the A2880 All-In-One, load transparencies in tray 1 with paper strip facing up, select ‘PRL A2880 All-In-One,’ then click on ‘properties,’ then select ‘transparency’ under “type” and select tray 1 as “source”

When you want to make a transparency by copying a document

On the A2880 All-In-One, load transparencies in tray 1 with paper strip facing up. Push ‘Black’ to make a black-and-white copy, and ‘Color’ to make a color copy.
